The project successfully migrated 8TB of user and application data from a Novell environment onto a Network Appliance Filer environment. This involved data from 35 data servers across the UK. We managed the implementation of 2 mirrored Filer environments in the London area and 31 filer implementations across the UK. The project consisted of:

• Design and implementation of a mirrored Filer environment in London

• Implantation of a further 31 Filers across the UK

• Migration of 8TB form a Novell environment to the environment created above.

• Decommissioning of all Novell servers

• Set-up snap-mirror and snap-backups from redundant sites to live site

Implementation of a Global Data Storage strategy. This project involved the implementation of all Hardware and operational staff to support the consolidation of Seismic and Drilling data across 20 International Assets. (total 300+ TB of Data)
